Big MLM Tip - Be the Hunted, Not the Hunter

I realize this statement is reversed from the way it is normally said, but if you are practicing Attraction Network Marketing, this way is more accurate. You want people looking for you.


It takes time to build such a reputation, but it will pay off in the long run. Building a reputation as a trusted leader is no small task, especially when so many are trying to do the same thing.


The concept is simple really. Offer something of value to those around you. I could give examples, but I do not want get you focused on one or two things. It would be much better if you come up with an idea on your own.

Just think about the things you need for your business, and offer to help others with the same needs. Ask yourself these 3 questions:

What is my biggest need in my business right now?

How can I address it?

How can I help others do the same?

If you can answer these three questions, you are well on your way to establishing an Attraction Network Marketing campaign that will surely yield the results you seek.

Twitter is a very valuable tool for Attraction Network Marketing, if used properly. If not, it can be a huge waste of time.

The first thing to do with twitter is to set up keyword specific accounts. Use your keyword in the account name if possible.

When you set up multiple accounts, you will find that you need a new email address for each one. Here is a quick tip on how to get around that. Just add a dot somewhere in your email address. For example, yourname@gmail.com could be altered to your.name@gmail.com. This will appear as a new email to twitter, but will still go to your email address. Now, back to using twitter. Everyone talks about followers. Yes, having many followers has its benefits, but focusing on followers only will get you nowhere. Trust me. I have 5 acount, and the 3 with under 1000 followers pull just as much traffic as the one with over 8200 or the one with abotu 4000. This is because of they way most people use twitter.

Face it, once you have more than a few hundred people you are following, the time line is almost worhtless. Tweets come and go, and even with thousands of followers, few people will ever see a random tweet in their timeline.

There are direct messages and mentions, but those are for one on one contact.

If you want to reach the masses, you need to know how to get them to find you. As mentioned earlier, people don't often use the timeline in twitter, they use the search feature. This is why keywords are so important in your tweets. Using hash tags (#) makes your keywords carry more weight for you.

If you really want to get the most out of twitter, I recommend reading an eBook my friend Rex Harris wrote titled "Tweet My Niche". This book will trach you how to find keywords to target and how to utilize hash tags. There is no opt-in form, but you will have to send a tweet about the book to download it. There is also the option to follow one of Rex's accounts there, which I recommend you do.

Use twitter the right way, and Attraction Network Marketing becomes almost too simple.
