Traffic exchanges can be a good source of traffic if used correctly. If not they are a complete waste of time.
For this post, we want to look at how they can benefit the professional network marketer.
The concept is simple. You surf pages through the exchange to gain credits, then use those credits so that other people see your pages.
The page you are promoting is what makes all the difference. You should only promote splash or capture pages on these sites. A splash page is a small web page designed to relay information briefly. People are going to view tis page for, on average, 3 to 5 seconds. That isn't a lot of time, so you have to grab their attention quickly.
A capture page is similar except it has a place enter an email address for more information. We can look at methods for creating splash pages another day, but what you promote with them is the key. It is not advised to promote opportunities or products via traffic exchanges. Promote yourself and what services you can offer.
Offering help to those who need it will get you much further.
If you have not already, I suggest going back and reading my post from yesterday, Laser Targeted Traffic.
