Big MLM Tip - Inclusive or Exclusionary

As we continue this series on mindset, we should take a look at the things we say every day. Today we will talk about the differences between inclusive speech and exclusionary speech.

As you go about your day, you will have many conversations and little micro conversations along the way. What message are you transmitting? Is it one of inclusion or exclusion?

Here is an example of what I mean:

When someone asks, "How are you doing?", what is your usual response. One of the most common responses is, "Not bad", but what message does this send? Look at this phrase. "Not bad" is a combination of two negative terms, a version of the word "No" and "Bad". While this phrase attempts to relay a positive response, the two negatives create an exclusionary statement. Even though you are trying to relay a positive message, the result is, you implant two negatives into your mind and the mind of the other person.

Next time, try to use positive, inclusive terms like, "I am Great". Mix it up with other positive adjectives. You will catch a lot of people off guard, especially on Monday morning. Most importantly though, each time you do this, you are overwriting some bad programming in your own subconscious. Eventually, such positive responses will become habit. Your subconscious will offer these responses automatically because you are now convinced that things really are "doing well". Once you believe it, you will make it true.

That is the power of the subconscious. Once you focus on the positives long enough, the negatives tend to be ignored. The more positive energy you put out, the more you will get in return. As Gandhi said, "Be the change you wish to see in the world".

The above quote illustrates that what we put out there is what we will get back. You are what you think, but also, your attitude affects everything and everyone around you. Removing negative thought patterns, and speech, will help in every aspect of your life. When you get serious about changing your thinking, you will start to see a change in those around you. People will start to smile more when you come near, and they will not even know why, at least not at first. If you are giving off that much positive energy, others will not be able to help feeling it.

I wish I could relay everything you need to know about how to do this in one blog post, or even a series of posts. Unfortunately, I cannot. If you wanted to be a doctor, it would take far more than reading a book on medicine. You need training to develop the right skills if you hope to completely change your though process.

This training starts with reading the eBook "Success in 10 Steps". Once you read it, I will send you a link to some skills training calls you can listen to and then set you up with a 1 on 1 coaching call with one of MY mentors. After completing this step, we will get you plugged into the above mentioned training, plus a whole lot more. The best part is, there will never be any cost incurred by you for any of this training. So come on, learn to be more positive, and then learn how to apply that to your business... all for free. Do not wait until tomorrow...

  1. I told this to someone today in Starbucks that she should say you are welcome instead of "no problem" because when she says the word no problem she is putting negativity out into the universe. Good job!!
