Setting goals is an important step in any business, but there are things to keep in mind before you get started.
For example, if you want to grow your network marketing business to the point where you can quit your job, what would need to happen to do this?
The best idea is to start at the end goal and work backwards until you break it down into little bite size pieces.
Let's start with the timing. How soon do you hope to accomplish this goal? For our purposes let's say 1 year from right now. Okay, so how much money will you need to be making, consistently, to be able to quit your job?
The next step is to look at your comp plan. How many people do you need in your organization to make that much money? Divide that number by 12 and you have the number of people who need to be added to your organization per month.
You will likely come up short of this number for at least the first couple of months, but don't get discouraged. This is a cumulative effort. As you help others grow their organizations, your own will start to multiply.
This monthly number should serve as a guide. Break it down by the week or even by the day. This way you can figure out what your daily tasks need to be to reach your goal.
I hope this helps some of you. Feel free to comment below and share this post at your favorite social media sites.
