85% of people do not like to be sold. Of the other 15%, a good 2/3 will not be interested I what you are selling. If you are using pushy aggressive sales tactics you are pushing away 95% of your prospects.
Even if you are a really good sales person, almost nobody will be able to duplicate what you do. If there is no duplication, there will be no growth.
The other catch is, if you have to sell someone, you will have to close the deal again month after month. This is because they never were fully convinced. Remember, "A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still" (Dale Carnegie).
Network marketing is NOT a sales business. It is a people business. Build people and they will build your business.

ReplyDeleteThis my opinion as being a sales person for almost all my life.The reality is that all business is people business,no matter online or offline. You never go out just for the sale because you will turn people off.The better you are at breaking the barrier and have prospects interact with you and build a strong rapport, the easier a sale will become.The most successful sales persons I know are those with good people skills, knowing how to use it to connect with people.apply this offline and online and you will have the same successful results.

ReplyDeleteThat's why in every field you will also have the losers who don't want to do it the right way.A very pushy sales person just care about himself and finally will not be the most successful one.Those marketers online that are just spamming others with their links is the same thing.I just read a post of Pete Dimas about attraction marketing and it makes total sense... if you don't work on attracting people you will not have a good business.
