Revenue Sharing Social Media

There is no doubt that social media is rapidly becoming the preferred method of advertising. Many major retailers have started funneling large portions of their advertising dollars to the social media sites. For us internet marketers, social media is the best method for building relationships. Building solid relationships will eventually result in a large customer base and/or downline.

With this explosive growth, it is little wonder more social media sites are popping up almost daily. Niche sites are becoming quite popular too. Regardless of your interests you can likely find a Web 2.0 site for it. If not, get busy and create one.

Among these niche sites are several that cater to the internet marketer. These sites are great for several reasons.

1. There is a wealth of knowledge being shared daily on these sites. If you are new to the internet marketing industry I strongly suggest joining several of these sites. You will find mentors willing and ready to assist you. Be sure to join in group discussions. You can learn most of what you need to know here.

2. Most of the members of these sites are potential prospects. If you focus on building solid relationships your business will grow as a result. If you just run around plastering you affiliate links everywhere, people will start to ignore you.

3.Many of these new site share their revenues with the members. I would not expect to make much money with these sites though. Personally, I use them for socializing, and if I make a few dollars here and there, then so be it. I do NOT promote these sites as a revenue stream as that could be damaging to your primary business. Remember, focus is the key. Trying to do too many things can easily backfire.

Social Media is already ruling the online world. Are you positioned to take advantage of this explosive growth? If not, you may want to consider it. Start with the big guys. Facebook and Twitter are leading the way in this field.

I have posted links to my profiles on several social media sites on the About Me page near the bottom. Come find me there as well.
