Some people like to lump this step into the prospecting category when sponsoring a new prospect is a major piece of the puzzle.
You cannot assume that your new business partner is simply going to "get it" and be ready to run with it. Take the time to work with them.
Walk them through your back office. Be sure they know where to find their information such as links, training, etc.
This is also the time to be sure they get set up on auto ship. Afterall, the sale of product is where all the income is generated.
The next thing you want to help them with is prospecting. The quicker you can get targeted prospects coming in for them, the faster you can build their confidence.
As you can see, there is a lot to do when sponsoring a new business partner. Remember, they are looking to you to help them make it work.
Great post Bill! I agree with you, you can't just sponsor someone without taking them by the hand and showing them what to do. That's a mistake many new people make and its a shame. A team doesn't let any member go without.
