trick is to get creative.
As you go about your daily life, be on the lookout for places where you can leave your information. Many stores have bulletin boards where you can place a tear sheet or fan out a few business cards.
Ever see the glass bowls where people are invited to drop in a business card for a chance at a free lunch? Drop your card in, or get adventurous and set up your own bowl. The cost of a lunch could land you some new hot prospects.
Again, get creative. I know of people who go to book stores, magazine racks at the grocery store, and the library to put business cards inside books and magazines that prospective partners may find of interest.
What about the lube and tune place, or where you get your hair cut? Keep an eye out for places to leave a card.

ReplyDeleteI have left my cards at the gas pump and at ATM stations. They fit perfectly in the credit card/debit card slot. The next person who comes along to get money or pay for their gas will have their hands on your info and then they can decide what to do with it next. You never know who just might call.
