IMfaceplate.com was designed as a branding tool for internet marketers. The first 6 months or so, this site was very highly active. Activity has slowed a bit since the initial rush, but this is still a great site for Attraction Network Marketing, and I would like to explain a few reasons why. 

The IMfaceplate admin team has made several improvements to the site making it one of the easiest sites out there to navigate. Also, your home page has areas that will keep you up to date at a glance. 

The groups are great at IMfaceplate too. There are a lot of people freely sharing their knowledge daily. HERE is a new discussion I posted in the groups earlier today.

Other features such as shouts, spotlights and articles make for a well rounded site. The article platform here is easy to use. There is no approval process to wait for and no limt on submissions. Articles placed here also do a good job of getting ranked with search engines if you do a good job with your keywords. 

Another key point to this site is, the admin here does a great job of trying to reduce SPAM. Affiliate links are not permitted in groups, and when a new member pops up and spams a lot of groups, their account is terminated. That is not tollerated on IMfaceplate.

In short, this is a great site for meeting and getting to know people. Be sure to find me while you are there.I look froward to seeing you there.

Twitter is a very valuable tool for Attraction Network Marketing, if used properly. If not, it can be a huge waste of time.

The first thing to do with twitter is to set up keyword specific accounts. Use your keyword in the account name if possible.

When you set up multiple accounts, you will find that you need a new email address for each one. Here is a quick tip on how to get around that. Just add a dot somewhere in your email address. For example, yourname@gmail.com could be altered to your.name@gmail.com. This will appear as a new email to twitter, but will still go to your email address. Now, back to using twitter. Everyone talks about followers. Yes, having many followers has its benefits, but focusing on followers only will get you nowhere. Trust me. I have 5 acount, and the 3 with under 1000 followers pull just as much traffic as the one with over 8200 or the one with abotu 4000. This is because of they way most people use twitter.

Face it, once you have more than a few hundred people you are following, the time line is almost worhtless. Tweets come and go, and even with thousands of followers, few people will ever see a random tweet in their timeline.

There are direct messages and mentions, but those are for one on one contact.

If you want to reach the masses, you need to know how to get them to find you. As mentioned earlier, people don't often use the timeline in twitter, they use the search feature. This is why keywords are so important in your tweets. Using hash tags (#) makes your keywords carry more weight for you.

If you really want to get the most out of twitter, I recommend reading an eBook my friend Rex Harris wrote titled "Tweet My Niche". This book will trach you how to find keywords to target and how to utilize hash tags. There is no opt-in form, but you will have to send a tweet about the book to download it. There is also the option to follow one of Rex's accounts there, which I recommend you do.

Use twitter the right way, and Attraction Network Marketing becomes almost too simple.

This is one of the newer sites out there, but has already proven itself to be highly responsive. This site has a lot of features, but we are going to cover two today, ads and the internal blogger. These two feature are intertwined too as you will see. 

Let's look at the blogger first.  The way they set this up makes this a powerful tool. Whenever you post a blog on IBOtoolbox, it is automatically syndicated to several places including facebook, twitter and others. Sometimes your posts will even appear on IBO's blogger and wordpress.com blogs. In short, your posts will get a lot of exposure and have a good chance of getting ranked highly with the search engines. 

Another feature of this blog is what leads us into the subject of ads. When you post a blog at IBO, you get 20 credits. Once you reach 100, you can convert them to ad impressions. 100 credits will get you 500 text or 100 banner impressions. 

Why are these ads so important? Because of the volume of traffic the site is getting. 500 text ad impressions usually only last about a day, although you can adjust the speed of your impressions. The site, and all its member pages, are getting tens of thousands of hits a day (current alexa.com rank is 16,754 and climbing daily). Many of these are from non members, which carries your reach farther out into the internet world. 

The exposure you can get from this site is amazing. If you arer not using IBOtoolbox.com, I suggest you go there right now. If you are, then start utilizing it. It is a great site.

A few days ago, I mentioned how you should be building a presence across several social media platforms. Today's topic will be a general discussion of how and where to do this. Over the next several days, we will look a little deeper into several sites, and some methods for getting the most out of them.

If you are wanting to take advantage of Attraction Network Marketing, you need to have a presence in as many places as possible. The more sites where you have a presence, the more chances you have for people to find you. Simple right? It is, until you start trying to manage them all. 

It can get a little overwhelming to manage a dozen or more social media sites. Some people will say that you need to be active on all of them daily. I say nonsense. Who has time for that? Personally, I use Facebook daily, and all others I use with varying degrees of frequency. 

Simply having a presence at many sites will help in your Attraction Network Marketing efforts, even if you do not frequent some of them.

There are several that I will hit a few times a week, like twitter, ibotoolbox and imfaceplate, but for most, once a week or so is all I devote to them, if that. 

Social media is a great place to meeyt people, and prospective business partners. Just do not spend all of your time on this one area. Remember, a balanced marketiing campaign will utilize many different methods.

Big MLM Tip - Expanding Your Brand Presence

Okay, after changing directions over the weekend, let's get back to where we left off on Friday with building your brand in social media. So far, in this series, we have gotten a start to our online branding efforts and took it to the next step of sharing quality content to brand yourself as an expert in your field.

Today we will talk about two methods of getting yourself out there, and acquiring name recognition, without being a spammer. In fact, people will greatly appreciate these two things, and they can both be mutually beneficial. They are blog syndication and blog commenting.

Blog Syndication is a powerful tool. The concept is simple. Say you created a new blog post and shared it with your friends at Facebook. They in turn share it on several different social media and social bookmarking sites. If the content is really good, their friends nay share it too, and it could go viral.

This does two things. It gets more eyes on your post, and each one of these shares is another backlink. Doing this for others helps build trust and respect. Plus, most people will be happy to return the favor.

The second method of getting yourself known is blog commenting. This method is very much mutually beneficial. For you, the commenter, you get a backlink. For the blog writer, more comments lend credibility to their material. Besides the backlink, that blogger, and others who read that blog, will see your response. When people start to see you being active on several blogs, you are building your brand. Now that we have established two methods for gaining exposure in a positive way, here are two Facebook groups that will help you accomplish these two tasks.

First, Syndication Elation is a group that I started, with the help of some good friends, that is centered around syndicating blogs. The idea is, you share some of the group posts on sites like twitter, stumbleupon, digg and others, then post your blog post to the group wall, and other members will do the same for you.

Another group you may be interested in Is Blogging Mastermind Commenting Tribe. The group rules say that you should comment on two of the blogs listed on the group wall, then add your blog post for others to see and comment on. Your comments are to go on the actual blog, not in the group, although it is customary to leave a note in the group stating that you left a comment.

Big MLM Tip - Building Your Brand via Social Media

Picking up from yesterday's post, you now have a friend base. This helps lend credibility moving forward. It is hard to brand yourself as an expert when you only have 3 friends, one of whom is your mom. 

Alright, let's start building Your Brand presence. We will continue to focus on facebook for now, but you will want to be utilizing as many other networks as possible as well. Your Brand needs to be represented in as many places as possible. For instance, I frerquently have people tell me things like, "You are everywhere", or "I keep seeing you pop up all over the place". That is when you know your branding efforts are working. 

If you set up your Facebook presence as outlined yesterday, you now have several groups in which to start working. The idea is to offer value to the people who read what you write. If you write a blog, add your blog posts to the groups. Remember, helpful blogs attract. Blogs that arer overly promotional get ignored. Be helpful whenever you can. 

A couple good way to get people to notice you is to share their content on social media and bookmarking sites (known as blog syndication) and through blog commenting. Tomorrow we will look at these two methods of gaining exposure as well as a list of some Facebook groups you may want to check out.

This method, commonly known as Attraction Network Marketing, is the #1 method used in social media today. You may be asking what qualifies me to write about this topic. Well, I have transitioned from the one who is constantly looking for people to follow, to someone who others look for. I get at least 3 or 4 Facebook friend requests, several new fan page likes, requests to join my groups, and dozens of new twitter followers every day. I no longer look for people to follow/friend. 

Now, I want to show you how you can do the same thing. If you are brand new to Attraction Network Marketing on the internet you will have to lay the ground work. For this example, we will be looking at Facebook. Other networks will work similarly. 

When people do find you, and you only have 6 friends, they are not as likely to add you, so you do need to build up your friend list some. One good method for gaining friends is through groups. Find groups related to your niche and get active. Let them know that you are new to this. People are really helpful if they understand you are new and learning the ropes. 

Remember not to SPAM the groups. This will get you ignored and possibly kicked out of the group. Remember, the key word in "Attraction Network Marketing" is Attraction. Spamming groups repels people.

Start posting and commenting regularly, and get to know many of the other members. Once you get to know someone, THEN send a friend request. Sending blind friend requests to people who don't know you is not the best idea. You may want to do a little bit of that if you have very few friends, but blind friending is not advisable as a long term strategy.

Alright, let us assume that you have some friends now and you are ready to get to the point where people are sending you regular friend requests. To do so, you need to establish your "Brand". This will be our topic for tomorrow as we continue this series on Attraction Network Marketing.
