It's heating up outside. Is your business doing the same?
We have already had several 90+ degree days here in North Texas. Business is heating up too.
Thanks to all of you who read and share my blog, it is becoming a hit. Google traffic is picking up nicely too. But, as the mercury climbs, outdoor activities are on the rise. Are you taking advantage of this in your offline prospecting efforts?
Summer will be here soon. With all the social activities that take place in the summer, how can you make the most of them? How many other parents do you know at the little league or soccer games? Don't pounce on them, just keep it friendly. Get to know them, and maybe exchange business cards or at least phone numbers and email addresses.
You better be prepared for the inevitable question, "What do you do for a living?" This will be the topic for tomorrow's post.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Inspiration, or the Lack There of
Inspiration can be hard to come by, especially for the frequent blogger. The truth is, inspiration can be found anywhere. Here are a few was to get the creative juices flowing.
Visit a few of your favorite blogs looking for ideas. Recently I have been inspired by some posts and comments that were in disagreement with me and others were so inspired due to their disagreement. Just play nice. A difference of opinion can be healthy and help each person to grow.
Draw inspiration from your surroundings. What is the weather like? Did you have an encounter during the day that stands out in Your mind? Try taking a walk and see if you can find something that sparks a thought along the way. Be sure to take a note pad with you.
Inspiration is everywhere. Just keep your eyes open.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Where are My Backlinks?
So, you just created a new page on our blog, and over the course of a week or two, you established a couple hundred backlinks. Wonderful, but is Google seeing them? Do you know how to find out?
First, let's see which of your backlinks are being seen by the search engines. Your Google analytics account has a link that will show you every link pointing back to Your site (I'm not sure that every link will be shown here, but most will). Yahoo site explorer has the same feature. If you are not using these tools you should go check into them right now.
Now that we know what links are being seen, it is time to go make sure the search engines can find the rest of them. Ping tools are great for this. I have been using them for a few years now and they work quite well for submitting a single URL. But, what if you want to submit multiple URL's utilizing several different keywords?
This would take forever with most ping tools.
Pingy can make short work of this task, and it is super easy to use. Simply enter the URL's to ping into the top box, one per line, then enter the keywords to be used one per line in the second box. Ping will then ping each URL with each keyword to multiple different sites. This takes a while to run, as you would imagine, but it frees you up to be working on other things while it runs.
I use it weekly. I take ever article that was published, video I added, new posts and pages or an other backlinks generated for the week and ping them. This ensures the search engines know about your links.
Note: as of this posting, pingy is not loading. It has been around a while, so I'm sure it's just a glitch.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Theming Your Writing
Theming your articles and posts makes them more relevant in they eyes of the search engines.
Basically, there are certain words the search engines consider as related to a specific topic. Want an example?
How about getting a list of theme words straight from the source? Yes, Google has a tool you can use to get a list of the theme words they associate with a topic. Here is the link http://labs.google.com/sets.
Once on the site, take your keyword phrase you want to target and enter each word of your phrase into one of the spaces provided then click "Large List". This will give you a list of around 80 to 100 words that Google expects to see on site relating to your keyword.
Copy and paste these into a text file removing the irrelevant words like "the, and, of" etc. Now, whenever you write articles or posts targeting that keyword you will want to try to use about 15 to 20 of these words. I would recommend doing this exercise for each keyword phrase you are targeting.
What I normally do is write the article, then come back and work these words into it. Using the words on this list will make your writings even more relevant when the spider comes to crawl them.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Article Writing part 3
Creating templates can drastically cut down on the amount of time you spend writing articles. Here is an example of how to create a template:
Intro paragraph: in 3 to 5 sentences, describe your topic and tell how the article will fulfill what your title promises. Your first sentence should include your keywords.
3 body paragraphs: each of these should be 5-7 sentences with one key point and 3 supporting points. Try to get your keyword into the title for each paragraph. If they do not have titles, put it in the first sentence of each.
Conclusion: spend about 5 sentences explaining how all this ties together. Do not put your link here though. It should go in the author resource box with a call to action in your conclusion pointing them to the link below. Try to get your keyword into the last sentence.
Resource box: keep this short and to the point. Add your link using your key words as anchor text if the option is available. Some resource boxes do not allow html.
Now that you have your outline, start with the body. Do a Google search for your key words and open each of the top 3 results. Find one key point and 3 supporting points from each website and write your body paragraphs. All the info you need is there, just reword it a bit.
Out of these paragraphs you will have enough info to put together your intro and conclusion paragraphs as outlined above. I hope some of you find this helpful. Tomorrow we will discuss using theme words to make your writing more appealing to Google and other search engines as well as your readers.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Article Writing part 2
Today we will talk about a referred to as the flip-flop.
The concept is simple. Go to a site such as ezinearticles.com and find an article you like in your specific niche. Copy and paste the entire article into a new blank document on your computer.
Now, go through and flip each sentence putting the first part at the end and the last part at the front. Most sentences can easily fit this procedure. As you do this, you will be rewording to make the sentence work. Here is an example:
You may also find a sentence or two that you do not need, and you will likely want to add a sentence or two along the way. once you go through this process, the original author will not even
I have also had luck with using this method on articles I have written. Get one written yourself and you can use this method to create several articles for posting at other directories.
With practice you will be able to do this within 15 minutes and have an article ready to go. Tomorrow we will look at creating an article template to make your article writing go much faster.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Article Writing part 1
A few days ago, in the series on backlinking, we talked about article marketing. Over the next few days we will cover several detailed methods for writing articles and doing it quickly.
The first method we will discuss is using an article someone else wrote exactly like it is. If you copy the entire article, including their links and a link back to the original article, you can use it on your blog or maybe even a secondary blog.
To avoid it being seen as duplicate content, write a short paragraph at the beginning explaining what you found and why you feel it is worthy of sharing. Then add another paragraph at the bottom summarizing the article.
I have found this method to be quite useful for a secondary blog where you only use it to drive traffic to your primary blog. You can do this on your main blog too, but you are going to want much of the content there to be your won if you ever have any chance of becoming an expert in the eyes of your readers.
Tomorrow we will talk about how to rewrite someone else article so that it is completely new and use it yourself without fear of plagiarism or duplication. This method also works for spinning your own articles for use on other sites.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Backlinking Part 5 Blog Commenting
I have written on this topic before, but it fits well here so let's take another look at it. Blog commenting is a win/win for both parties.
For you, it is a way to connect with other bloggers as well as getting that all important backlink. The other person benefits from having valuable comments on their blog.
Blogs with lots of comments tell a new visitor two things: a lot of other people are reading this, so maybe they should too; and if many others find reason to comment, it must be good material.
Many bloggers, especially the up and coming ones, will return the favor and comment on your blog. This makes both of your backlinks reciprocal, so they do not count as highly as a one way link, but the benefit of having those comments balances the equation.
This is the last post in this series. Tomorrow we will revisit Backlinking method #1, Article marketing with a series of posts on how to write articles quickly for backlinking purposes.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Backlinking Part 4
Before getting into today's post I want to mention that this is daily post #100 here at Bill's BIG mlm Blog. 100 days ago I set out to share what I have learned with anyone who cares to read it. It has been a wonderful experience so far. I find that I actually learn quite a bit simply from writing it down. Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive of this blog so far. I look forward to the next 100 days and beyond.
Now, let's get into today's lesson:
Q&A sites are another good place to get quality backlinks. They are also a good place to waste a lot of time if you are not careful. Answers.com and yahoo answers are among the best, but there are several more smaller ones out there. The idea is to search for questions related to your niche, and give a good quality answer. You can the leave a link back to your website.
For example, if someone posted a question about how to understand MLM Compensation plans, I would do my best to answer their question and then send them to the specific page of my blog that relates to that topic.
Remember, at least 1/2 of the traffic you send to your site should be to a specific location on your MLM Blog, such as a static page or even a post, rather than to the home page of the blog.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Backlinking Part 3 - Press Releases
Publishing press releases is another good way to get quality inbound links to your site. Press release sites are typically high PR sites too. You also have the chance that, if you are doing something news worthy, your story could get picked up by media outlets.
Remember, this does not have to be something worthy of making the 6 o'clock news. Anytime to create a new page on your blog, a new Facebook fan page, or anything you do that is new, write a press release about it.
There are dozens of sites for posting press releases for free. There are even a few that cost a little money as well as paid services that will broadcast your press releases for you and help you manage your brand presence.
Writing press releases is a bit different than writing articles. I suggest doing a Google search for "how to write a press release". You will find more than enough information on the topic.
Tomorrow will be part 4 of 5 in this baclinking series, posting on Q&A sites.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Backlinking part 2
Mass article submission is #2 on our list of backlinking methods. This method involves submitting spun versions os shorter articles to dozens or even hundreds, of smaller article directories.
These articles can be shorter than the ones we did in backlinking method #1, and you will not need to be as detailed. You can even take some of your longer articles from method one and use parts of it to create shorter articles for mass submission.
This is a syndication method that would be far too daunting to do manually, so you will need software to do it for you. There are several options concerning software, both for spinning your articles and mass submitting. I do not want to make any recommendations here. If you asked 100 people you would get at least 50 different answers.
Find a spinner and submitter that works for you.
Tomorrow we will cover method #3 for generating backlinks, press releases

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Backlinking Part 1
Today we will start a 5 part series on building backlinks to your site. Getting backlinks to your site is the #1 biggest thing you can do to attract search engine traffic.
This is not going to work for a company provided capture or affiliate page. SEO efforts would be wasted on such a page. But, if you have your own MLM Blog, then these steps will help you get your sites found by people in search engines.
The first method of adding backilnks is to post quality articles to a few of the top article directories online. These directories, such as ezinearticles.com, articlebase.com, goarticles.com, articlealley.com and others are high PR (Page Rank) sites and these links carry more weight than lower PR sites. These sites are particular about what content they will accept. Only unique content that is of good quality, and not just a sales pitch, will get published.
There are two others that can rank quite well, and they are hubpages.com and squidoo.com. A word of caution on these. If you are in the network marketing business, as most people reading this blog likely are, these two sites do not allow articles on this subject. As a matter of fact, hubpages will not allow me to link to this blog because it has MLM in the URL. If you can be more generic and not write specifically about MLM or network marketing, then they may work for you.
If you are targeting a keyword that is not highly competitive, the above listed sites will work well and you may not need many more links. For more competitive keywords, you will need considerably more links, perhaps hundreds or even thousands.
Come back and read my posts for the next 4 days where I will cover other backlinking methods.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: What I Learned from an Ant
This afternoon I saw an ant bed in the yard. There were drones busily scurrying about each doing his task completely on instinct.
As I watched milling about it reminded me of the highway system here in the Dallas area at rush hour, millions of cars flooding the streets and highways, running on pure instinct because it is all they have ever known.
We go to work, come home, and do it all over again the next day. Many of us are so entrenched in our routine that the slightest deviation can cause total chaos lasting for hours or even days.
Sounds a lot like one of those drone ants doesn't it? I don't know about you, but I do not plan to live out my life as a drone.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Sympathy Sponsoring
Have you ever wished you could sponsor someone because you see that they are in a tough spot?
Maybe it was a friend who had a run of bad luck, or maybe it was someone you just met. Either way, this is never a good strategy.
With any legitimate network marketing company there is going to be an initial expense. It is usually not very much, but if the person cannot afford it, you will be left with two options. Either you will not be able to get them going or you will offer to pay their way in.
While it may, at first, make sense to pay the initial fee for them, I would warn against it. The first issue is, are they really going to value something that was given to them as much as if they had earned it? Secondly, what is going to happen next month when they cannot afford to cover the cost of their own products?
At that point you would be left with little option but to cover their expenses again. How long would you be willing to carry that person? Can you help them become profitable quickly enough to remove that burden from them and from yourself?
Then you have to consider the potential that your new broke distributor will feel a sense of shame from not being able to pull their own weight. Keeping them engaged will be difficult at best.
Such a situation can put a serious strain on a relationship.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Bringing the Fathers Back Home
As a father, this is a topic that is a topic that hits close to home for me.
I started reading a book recently called "Point Man" by Steve Farrer. In chapter 3 the author goes into detail about how the industrial revolution took the father out of the home. Prior to that time, the majority of fathers worked from home as farmers or ranchers. Others were tradesmen who typically worked out of the front of their shop and lived in the rear.
After age 7, the boys would start to work with their father and learn his trade. Even on days they had to go for supplies, or to market to sell their goods, or just going fishing, the father and sons went together. The point is, the father was there for his son, every day, building, shaping and molding him.
Once men started working outside the home, his influence on the family, especially the male children, was greatly diminished.
Farrar makes the point that this shift is largely responsible for the decay of the modern family, and I tend to agree. That is why I take it as my duty to bring as many fathers home as possible.
You ask why I will help someone who does not join me in my business? It's simple. I want to see men have the chance to be the type of father God intended.
Of course I want this for women as well. The mother is the key nurturer of a family. When that aspect is removed from the home for 8 hours a day or more, the impact can be significant.
Our sons and daughters need more of an influence from their parents, and I plan to help with this cause. Who is with me?

Big MLM Tip of the Day: My Story Part 3
To round out this trilogy, I'll pick up where I left network marketing back in '95.
I continued to work in manufacturing and production jobs for the next 12 years. I got divorced during this time and spent the better part of a decade as a single adult. I finally went back to school in my late 20's to get an associates degree in computer drafting.
All this time, I still felt that the network marketing industry sounded good, but I was still plagued with the belief that I was just not cut out for it. So, after entering the professional workplace rather than the labor side, I found the same things were still happening. I got into architecture but found that there was no more security in an office job than there was working as a laborer. After yet another layoff, I decided to turn to the Internet.
Like most people, I had the misguided idea that it would be easy to make money online. I was approached with some MLM Opportunities early in my online career, but I dismissed them because I still did not believe I could do it. After taking some lumps, and eventually figuring out a few things, I started to notice that many of these affiliate programs worked similarly to network marketing, but with higher attrition rates and often less chance of real success.
Then, just as I was starting to warm up to the idea of MLM again, I met the person who would go on to be my mentor, Terri Pattio. After speaking with her for a while via the group discussions on imfaceplate.com, she sent me a link to an eBook. It took me a few days to actually read it, mainly because I was skeptical. I had seen similar tactics used and most of the material I had read was all but worthless. But, the day I finished that eBook was a turning point for me.
I finally learned that it was not my fault. The deck was stacked against me from the start. On top of that, I had been lied to by people who were passing on the same lies they had been told, and they didn't even realize it. This eBook is titled "Success in 10 Steps".
Yes, that is a link where you can download it for yourself.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: My Story - Part 2
As the great philosopher Forrest Gump put it, "I've worn lots of shoes".
After I got out of the Navy in '93 I worked a lot of different jobs, mostly in manufacturing, construction, and oil and gas production, for almost a decade. During that time, I tried several different sales jobs. I failed miserably as a salesman.
Also during this time, I was exposed to several network marketing businesses, but I only ever joined one of them. I was living in Utah at the time, over a thousand miles from my family and friends. My "warm market" consisted of co-workers and neighbors. I did not know many people at the time, and the Internet was still in its infancy.
I managed to show the plan to some coworkers, acquaintances and even the guy who sold me my car. I sponsored two people and they both quit before the ink was dry on their form (yes, it was still an actual paper form back then).
Without more people to talk to I had little chance of success. My upline was little help. All they could tell me were vague comments like, "you need to meet more people" (no kidding). I cannot blame them though, as they did know any better either.
I left the network marketing industry defeated thinking I just was not cut out for it. It took 15 years before I learned that it wasn't me.
Tomorrow I will share with you what turned everything around for me.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: My Story - Part 1
It has now been just over 3 months since I started this new blog and I wanted to share a bit about where I come from and what qualifies me as someone who should be operating his own MLM Blog.
I'm a native born Texan and live in the Dallas area today. I was raised in west Texas most of my childhood.
I went into the Navy after high school which afforded me the opportunity to see a great deal of our world. I was stationed in Florida and California and got to visit several countries including Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Kenya, Thailand, Dubai and The Philippines.
I did not go back to college until my late 20's. That definitely helped my J.O.B. Income, but stability was still an issue. I learned long ago that the only true way to have financial security is to make your own.
Tomorrow I will share a bit of the bumpy path that has been my career both before and after going back to school and how that lead me to where I am today.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Sponsoring Mistakes - Leading With Your Product or Opportunity
We touched on this subject in yesterday's post when talking about presentations, but what about how you conduct yourself online? Are you promoting your business opportunity or products?
If you are trying to promote a business opportunity or product, you are going to find it difficult to progress. People want to join with a leader who obviously has it together and will be there for them.
The buzz word in the industry now is "Attraction Marketing". The idea is to brand yourself as an expert in your particular niche and people will seek you out. This is particularly effective for network marketers. I and others I know have people coming to us asking what we do and wanting to join us.
It takes time and work to get to that point, but once you do, you can stop chasing new leads because they will be coming to you. If you promote yourself well, you will never have to promote your business again.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Sponsoring Mistakes - Using a "One Size Fits All" Presentation
I keep thinking back to my early days in network marketing. The "system" (and I use that word loosely) I was taught was to talk to everyone you know and set up an appointment to show them "The Plan". Even better, get them to one of the events at a hotel or restaurant where someone from your upline was showing "The Plan".
The focus was always on the plan. This plan, as it were consisted of several parts: an overview of the network marketing concept, how the comp plan works, and a pitch about the company and their products. These presentations would sponsor some people, but they missed the main point. The focus was always on comp plan, company and product.
The problem is, this type of presentation focuses on the wrong things. The first thing your prospects want to know is, can they do this and are you going to be there to help them. The company history is near the end their list of priorities, so why is so much time usually spent on this?
The compensation plan ranks way down the list too.
Bottom line, when you present your primary business to someone, you should always lead with you and your upline and how you are there to help.
Tailoring your presentation to the personality type of your prospect will make a huge difference. I can show you how to determine a prospect's personality type within 2 minutes, and how to speak to them in term that will matter most.
Start by downloading the eBook "Success in 10 Steps". After reading it, email or call me. My contact info is on the last page.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Sponsoring Mistakes - Closing the Sale
If you have ever worked in sales, you know the importance of closing the sale. You also know that it is the most difficult part of the sale even with a highly qualified and interested customer.
People new to sales have the most trouble with closing. I sold cars for a short time years ago. My first two sales were going well, but the deal started lagging. At that time, my boss sent in a "closer". This guy was experienced and he closed both the deals. I thought I was doing well, and then the training wheels came off. I had made two sales in my first two days, then did not make another for almost 3 months.
I tried other sales jobs over the years. I sold vacuum cleaners, milk delivery service and some retail. What I learned was, I am not a salesman. I will write a bit more on this topic soon, but suffice it to say, you do not need to be a salesman to be successful at network marketing. I am living proof of this.
Want more proof? Download and read "Success in 10 Steps". All the secrets the so called "heavy hitters" of MLM don't want you to know are in here.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Sponsoring Mistakes - Aggressive Selling
85% of people do not like to be sold. Of the other 15%, a good 2/3 will not be interested I what you are selling. If you are using pushy aggressive sales tactics you are pushing away 95% of your prospects.
Even if you are a really good sales person, almost nobody will be able to duplicate what you do. If there is no duplication, there will be no growth.
The other catch is, if you have to sell someone, you will have to close the deal again month after month. This is because they never were fully convinced. Remember, "A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still" (Dale Carnegie).
Network marketing is NOT a sales business. It is a people business. Build people and they will build your business.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Sponsoring Mistakes - Friends and Family
Have you ever gotten the feeling your friends were ignoring your phone calls? That is usually the result when you try to build a network marketing business by making a list of your friends and family.
What's worse is, what do you do when you get to the end of the list and are left with nobody in your business and nobody that will return your calls? That is where most people give up and quit.
Why not try a different approach. For starters, download and read "Success in 10 Steps" by Michael Dlouhy. Then contact me and I will show you how to get a steady stream of free leads for MLM.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Get More Content for Your MLM Blog
I mentioned, a few days ago, that you do not have to write all of your own content. Today we will look at a couple of methods that use other peoples' content for your blog.
The easiest way to do this is to share the content you have found on your blog. You can share anything, but we will only look at two types of content: other blog posts and youtube videos. Sharing another blog post is easy. Simply copy and paste the ENTIRE post into a new post on your blog. If they have a link, you must include that link. Now, write a short paragraph at the beginning explaining what you found and why you wanted to share it. Then add another paragraph at the end saying something like, "I hope you enjoyed this".
Adding these paragraphs helps search engines to not see it as duplicate content and dismiss it. Youtube videos are easy to share too. Just grab the embed code, start a new post, write a brief description, then paste the code into your post under the HTML tab. If this sounds confusing, don't worry. You will figure it out soon.
The other method of using outside material is to find an article or post you like and rewrite it. This method is a bit more complicated, but I can share some great training audios with you if you want to try it. Simply email me via the contact button to the left and I will send you the link.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: More on Keywords
Keywords are he life's blood of a website. Everything you do, from your blog, to article, social bookmarking, social media and video marketing, should revolve around your chosen keywords.
Selecting the right keywords to target makes all the difference. The SEO page of this blog has info on doing keyword research.
As a network marketer, when doing keyword research, you will go about it a bit differently than an affiliate marketer. Most internet marketers will not bother with a keyword phrase unless it is getting thousands of searches a month.
For the network marketer, if you are following up like you should, you would never be able to keep up with that many leads. Keywords that only get 10-20 hits a day are fine. These hits are going to be highly targeted too.
The big thing to look at is competition. If you are shooting for a highly competitive keyword, you better have your page highly optimized and be ready to go get hundred, if not thousands, of backlinks. That is more work than most of us will want to do, so it is better to stick with the "low hanging fruit".Try to find keywords that get enough searches to make it worth you time but are not overly competitive.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: 3 Components of an MLM Blog - Keywords
Over the past few days we have been discussing whether or not you are ready to start your own MLM Blog and the 3 key components of your blog.
Today we will talk about keywords. You can visit my SEO page for information on doing keyword research.
Let's touch on how to use keywords in your blog. When you are first starting out, you should find 3 or 4 good keyword phrases to target. Eventually you will have dozens of keywords you are targeting, but a few will get you started. Every post or page you create should include at least one of these keywords, and be sure the post or page title includes that keyword.
Also, your keyword should appear in the first and last sentence of each post as well as in the body of your text. If your posts are longer, say 500 words or more, you will want to include your keywords 4 or 5 times. If they are short, like most of mine, at the beginning and end will suffice.
You do not want to have your keyword density to get higher than about 6%. Google "keyword density tool" and you will find several.
If you do your keyword research, post quality keyword specific content on a regular basis, and be persistent, it will pay off in the long run. In about a week I will be doing another series soon on backlinking that will focus more on how keywords work for you and how to tie them all together.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: 3 Components of an MLM Blog- Consistency
If you have not read the post from the past two days, start with "Are You Ready for Your Own MLM Blog", then read the post on Content from yesterday.
Now, the second component of a successful blog is consistency.
If you hope to attract traffic from the search engines, you are going to have to write consistently. Consistent posting is how you attract the search engine spiders to crawl your site regularly.
This is especially important when you first start your MLM Blog. To get the attention of the search engine robots, you will need to post daily for at least 6 weeks. Twice a day is best.
If you do this, and include your keyword phrases, you will start to see results within that 6 week period. After that, if you want, you can scale back to every other day and watch to make sure it does not affect your rankings.
At minimum, you will want to continue to post 3-4 times a week. Yes, this is quite a commitment, but it is worth it in the long run.
Tomorrow we will discuss the all important keyword aspect of blogging.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: 3 Components of a MLM Blog- Content
If you did not read yesterday's post, "Are You Ready to Start Your Own MLM Blog" I suggest you go read it first.
While this may seem like a no-brainer, many people seem to not understand the concept. The first thing you will need is a steady stream of fresh content. You do not have to write it all yourself, but we will talk about this on another day. Constant content not only keeps readers engaged but the search engines like it too.
You will need to do some writing of your own if you ever hope to brand yourself as an expert. When creating content keep the 3 E's in mind; Educate, Enlighten, Entertain. You will want to include at least one of these, or any combination of the 3.
In the world of the Internet, content is the king. Tomorrow we will talk about consistency.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Are You Ready for Your Own MLM Blog?
This post starts a series covering some of what you may want to consider if you are planning to start an MLM Blog. This is a big step. If you are not prepared to do what is required, then maybe it's not the right time. If you are, then get ready for the ride.
First, you have to decide why you want to have your own MLM Blog. What are you planning to promote? Will you be offering helpful information for other network marketers, write reviews of companies or products, or something else entirely?
Do you plan to put the effort into SEO so that you will pull traffic from search engines, or do you simply want to bring your friends there from Facebook and twitter?
The answers to these questions will determine how you proceed. If you are new to this, and not sure you want to get your own URL and host your own blog, then blogger will be your best bet. Maybe you are just familiar with it like me and want to use it.
Otherwise, you will need to get a URL and install a Wordpress blog on it. We won't go into how all this works now, but maybe we can discuss it further later.
So, are you ready to start your own MLM blog? In the next 3 days we'll cover the 3 key components you will need for a successful blog.

Big MLM Tip of the Day: Why I WILL NOT Promote My Company Here
The answer, in a word, is credibility.
Yes, I am currently building a network marketing business. If you want a mentor to help you with your marriage, you wouldn't go to your single friends.
The same is true here. Find someone who is building and follow that person. Following the example set by the Mentoring For Free system, I do not want the message to get lost because someone views this blog as a sales pitch.
The sole purpose of this blog is to help others. I would be doing you a disservice by pitching a company here. It's no secret, and if anyone is curious just email me from the contact button on the left of the screen or the email link on the "About Me" page.
